Who Decides What’s a Fake?

According to Artinfo, “a key question in the Knoedler affair is now who gets to determine that the works in question are, indeed, fake.”

Surprisingly, one defendant in the Knoedler affair is questioning an “esteemed” forensic conservator and his company, Orion Analytical.
