6 Points Worth Pondering From The Appropriation Art Smack-Down at New York Law School

Artinfo’s Shane Ferro opines on last Monday’s appropriation-copyright panel at NY Law School. Ferro’s quite kind when quoting me, and this one is of particular import to me.

whether or not we believe the current copyright law is wrong, “when you are teaching artists, what are your ethical obligations?” Shouldn’t you teach them what the law is and how to follow it, rather than what you would like it to be?
