Stanford Law School professor Paul Goldstein opines on the Graham v. Prince case.

“If [Prince is] commenting on social media, let him take things other than copyrighted images,” said Goldstein. “The attraction of [Graham’s] image for Prince is not that it’s taken from Instagram, but rather that it’s a truly arresting image. Looking at the images he used, they’re all pretty compelling images. The credit for that goes to the original author. There’s no justification for getting on the back of a copyrighted work to make your comment—and I’m not sure what the comment is.”
