Portrait Of First Four Female Supreme Court Justices Unveiled

A new oil portrait of the first four female U.S. Supreme Court justices was on display Monday at the Smithsonian’s National Portrait Gallery in Washington, D.C. The painting, a mixture of Velázquez and de Chirico, is by Nelson Shanks. It’s not too bad, but we think Elena Kagan got the short end of the stick in this portraiture, looking a bit older and frumpier.
