Should an Artist Finish Another Artist’s Work?


Not quite Mass MoCA v. Buchel — you know, where Mass MoCA took it upon themselves to install Buchel’s work without his knowledge or consent, but this little story out of Chicago does pose an interesting question: should an artist finish another artist’s unfinished work?

By the way, the original artist is dead.
