Sex and Fair Use

Ok, this is really about the Sex Pistols, two images, fair use, and another lawsuit pitting artist vs. artist.

The dispute involves photographer Dennis Morris who snapped photographs of the Sex Pistols for his book on the punk rock band. Years after, an artist named Russell Young discovered one of the photographs on the Internet and used it to create a few pieces of art.

U.S. District Judge Dolly Gee found one image constituted fair use, and the other did not. Will try to get more info and the opinion soon.
