China’s Own World of Warcraft
And we’re not talking about Beijing.
Looks like China is creating an entire theme park based on Blizzard’s World of Warcraft. According to the blog, Nerd Bastards,
The 150-acre park, dubbed World Joyland, is located in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province. Costing nearly $50 million U.S., the park goes the extra mile in that it doesn’t just rip off WoW, but Starcraft as well.
But I’m not sure the simple change of name is enough to get them out of copyright trouble. Not that it matters.
