Artist and art professor Edward Noriega had his artwork removed (read: censored) due to the nature of its content. It appears Noriega’s artwork, which contained swastikas and references to Nazis, criticized Alabama’s stance on immigration and Latinos. Granted, the artwork is not that rigorous or complex, but that certainly doesn’t mean the director of the Talladega’s Heritage Hall Museum should simply remove the work.
