Are Exercise and Yoga Routines Copyrightable?

In a rather long and wordy “Statement of Policy” in the Federal Register a few weeks ago, the Copyright Office recently noted that a series of exercises or yoga routines is not protected expression under US Copyright Law. So, does this mean that choreography and performance art are out too? Apparently not.
